| Under resten av veckan utforskar vi älven både upp- och nerströms. Älven är fantastisk och kanske en av de mäktigaste upplevelser jag haft. Konstigt nog är fisket inte speciellt givande. På ställen där vi verkligen borde få fisk verkar det alldeles tomt. Jag är övertygad om att fisken finns där, men även på Kolahalvön är det bara fiske vi håller på med. Det är inte alltid fisken är på hugget och då blir man utan. Så är det bara.
Sista dagen fiskar vi av en kort sträcka vi tidigare bara gått förbi. Det är ett av selen som smalnar av på mitten så det bildas som en midja. Eftersom det passerar mycket vatten är det strömt även här, och flugan får en fin drift. I första kastet hugger en rejäl fisk. Den hoppar en, två, tre gånger. Den är brun, så det är svårt att se om det är en lax eller öring. Efter några rusningar går och spänner i djupet och inte förrän jag har den framför fötterna ser jag att det är en lax. Fyra komma två kilo är ingen anmärkningsvärd vikt för en lax, men på en öringutrustning i klass fem är det kul. Riktigt kul.
Flugan får en fin drift när älven smalnar...
På lördagen blir vi hämtade av helikoptern klockan 07.00 och innan dess ska väskorna packas och lägret rivas. Reveljen går därför klockan fem och i kyla och strilande regn packas allt ihop. Vi får vänta en kvart extra på transporten, men när den väl kommer är det varmt och torrt i kabinen. Klockan åtta sitter vi till bords på Ryndacampen och blir serverade en frukost som kanske inte riktigt faller inom mallarna. Eller vad sägs om kålsoppa till förrätt, fläskkotlett med lök och potatismos till varmrätt och till det kall öl och isad vodka? Breakfast the Russian way, kanske?
Några timmar senare sitter vi Skyways-planet på Murmansk flygplats. Alla transporter har fungerat perfekt. Det är en väloljad organisation här uppe nu, och man behöver inte alls vara orolig. Det enda orosmomentet är egentligen dimman på tundran. Är det för dimmigt flyger inte helikoptern och då kan man bli kvar där ute i både en och två dagar, men det är en del av upplevelsen, av äventyret.
Mot älven, storslagen rysk natur...
Det har varit en tuff vecka, men vi har haft ett skapligt fiske trots vädret. Vi summerar och kommer fram till 79 öringar över kilot med en topp på 3,6 kg. Dessutom tre laxar. Utan att tveka är vi överens om att vi gärna skulle ha stannat en vecka till, även i det här vädret...
